There’s a buzz of excitement in the Opendoorz offices at the moment and, for once it’s got nothing to do with how much fizz we’ve drunk! We’re excited because we’re about to bring someone new into our team and that person could be you!
2019 has been a fantastic year of growth for Opendoorz. We now operate 7 professional networking groups across Oxfordshire and Berkshire with over 70 Directors & Business Owners as members. 2020 is shaping up to be even bigger and we’re looking for more Associate Directors to join us on this adventure!
With dynamic Directors Cathy & Sonia at the helm you’ll be working alongside them to grow a new group, implementing the Opendoorz strategy and supporting the personal and business growth of its members. As a business owner already this gives you a great platform to grow your own business through building your connections and supporting others as well as having a bit of fun on the journey!
At Opendoorz, we do things a little differently and are known for our ‘grown-up’ approach to networking. In fact, we prefer not to call it networking at all because Opendoorz is so much more than that. We’re dedicated to helping our members businesses grow and develop through building strong, professional networks in a strategic and results driven way. At an Opendoorz meeting you’ll only find high calibre professionals: our members are all business owners, partners, or MD’s of companies.
Our Associate Directors are positive, self-motivated, highly organised business owners who can work effectively and collaboratively with a diverse range of professional contacts.
“I’ve been networking around Oxfordshire and Berkshire in various guises for 15 years and have experienced the good, the bad and the ugly (and everything in between!) at some stage or other. Having had some ideas about how I would set up a networking group, I was then invited to Opendoorz by Cathy and Sonia, and was so impressed by what I saw that I asked if I could start another Opendoorz group in Henley. I’ve been so pleased by the success of the Henley group, that I’m now launching another in Reading, and already starting to look at other locations for next year – exciting times! Personally, it’s helped raise my profile in the local area and brought opportunities (and opened a few doorz!) for my own business as well.” Sebastian Brown Opendoorz AD Henley & Reading
To be an AD for Opendoorz you will need a natural ability and flair for connecting people, delivering presentations and building a network around you of trusted introducers, collaborators and strategic partners. If you think this sounds like you, read on!
What’s different about Opendoorz? No-one says it better than our members themselves. Whether they’ve been with us for years or have recently joined Opendoorz there’s a common theme that runs through their testimonials – Opendoorz is good for business!
Nicola Poole, MD Hedges Law. Eight year members with our first group, Opendoorz Oxford “I feel so proud to have been one of the founder members of Opendoorz. There was no doubt in my mind, from day 1, that this was going to be a networking group that was really different. Being part of this committed, dynamic team gave me some amazing leads, terrific business confidence, but most importantly a close ‘family’ of business professionals who supported me and my business, and its growth and became both my trusted associates and my friends. 18 months after joining, I took the hugely ambitious and bold decision to move my business from a high street location to the city centre, and we have never looked back.”
Ryan Irving, Director RIWeb.A new founder member in our Opendoorz Reading group “After visiting a couple of groups, I was really impressed with the overall structure of the meetings which not only meant that some great relationships were being made but the level of quality learning was great. When I heard a new group was opening in Reading, I had no hesitation in joining as one of the first members because I knew this was exactly the type of networking group I needed to be a part of in order to take my business in the direction I want to go.”
