I first started Starfish Accounting when I was nearing the end of my maternity leave after having twins. Even though my employer would have supported me moving to part-time, I didn’t want to go back into the corporate world. I realised that so many women in business face the same pressures I did – trying to balance a career they care about with the life they want to live. That’s why Starfish exists: whether we’ve been working with a client for a decade or just a few months, I love building genuine connections, helping them grow a business that reflects their values, and supporting them in achieving their goals without sacrificing family or purpose.
