Opendoorz isn’t a networking group. We’re a professional business community, constantly evolving and broadening thanks to our fabulous members and the unique qualities and connections they bring with them.

Our approach is all about bringing together the highest calibre members and providing them with a forum to share their knowledge and expertise. Supporting and learning from each other in this way means that as a member, your Opendoorz group family quickly become your biggest cheerleaders, your go to people for advice and feedback and firm friends to share a drink with.

How do we do it?

Our approach has served us well for more than a decade, and the results speak for themselves as we continue to establish new groups across south-west and central England. But what’s in that special Opendoorz mix that makes it such a hit?

Numbers are important, but when it comes to business connections it’s quality not quantity that is our focus. Like the best coffee, we ensure we have the perfect blend by being selective over choosing new members to join. It’s about determining who will be a good fit with the existing membership and the value they will add in terms of sharing their expertise, ideas and connections with the group.

Trackable success

Anecdotal evidence is great, but we want to go deeper and track the business results that Opendoorz is really having for our members. Members can access a detailed log of the introductions and business resulting from them across our network, and we make a point of checking these figures are up to date at the group meetings. There’s nothing better than seeing where a difference is really being made.

Any business thrives on developing connections and relationships and Opendoorz is a great way to meet contacts who may grow to become clients, suppliers, colleagues or even friends.

Our monthly guest events mean there are constantly new faces appearing and with them new opportunities to connect. The groups are created to ensure that as a member you are the sole representative of your profession within that group, but the guest events mean there’s plenty of opportunity to meet other specialists in your field along the way. Continually learning and developing your skills is what sets a business, and an individual, apart. At Opendoorz we believe it should be a priority for all our members to continue their personal growth. We set time aside during our meetings for professional development sessions and as these are often member-led it’s a great way to broaden your knowledge about a different industry or sector. In addition, there are also opportunities for members to host or take on one of our ambassador roles.
