Meet the Opendoorz Team.
When it comes to successful networking, there’s not much this lot don’t know!

Cathy is a dynamic connector and eternal optimist, always eager to bring the right people together at just the right moment. With an innate ability to recognise synergies, she thrives on helping like-minded individuals build meaningful relationships. Her passion for networking extends to helping businesses, particularly start-ups and solopreneurs, leverage opportunities, expand their horizons, and create lasting professional growth.
When she’s not creating the perfect match, Cathy’s other passions include golf and running round with her grandchildren. She’s also partial to a night out and loves any excuse to glam up!
Kate has a positive energy that the rest of us would like to bottle and steal! Her in-depth understanding of how and why Opendoorz works so well keeps things running smoothly and means she’s able to identify opportunities to boost performance. She is often the first port of call for new members, helping them find their feet and supporting them through the first year. She loves to drive growth, build strong connections, and make sure every member thrives in their membership.
Off the clock, you’ll find Kate wrangling her two little ones, jetting off on new adventures, or catching up with friends—preferably over a bottle of bubbly!
Caroline is a powerhouse of marketing expertise, having built and managed her own successful marketing consultancy for many years. She is also famous amongst the local business community for her networking prowess – she literally knows everybody! Having been involved with Opendoorz for many years as a member and Associate Director, she knows and understands the Opendoorz brand and how best to keep it moving forward.
Away from work, although we seriously wonder how she has time to do anything else with so much networking, Caroline is a proud mum to 3 young adults. She loves getting dressed up for a night out at one of her many favourite restaurants in Oxford…
Our Associate Directors
At our side are our Associate Directors. All business owners who bring their expertise to the Opendoorz mix. They work as a team and with their groups to implement the Opendoorz strategy and nurture the development of the members and their businesses. As business owners and entrepreneurs themselves, they understand the value of networking as part of an effective marketing strategy and willingly share their advice and insights.
The Associate Directors are a critical friend when it comes to upholding the ethos, value and personality of each individual group making them an important part of the Opendoorz team.

He creates a supportive and collaborative environment where business professionals can connect, share ideas, and grow their enterprises. Phil is known for his ability to foster meaningful connections and facilitate opportunities for members to develop valuable business contacts.
Outside of Opendoorz, Phil enjoys cooking, running, and relaxing with a glass of wine while listening to 80’s pop music – and occasionally dancing to it!!

Gemma Cubbitt
Gemma is a curious, empathetic and energetic professional. She gets her kicks from bringing the right people together focusing on how best to support her network in their personal and professional goals. Her FTSE100 corporate background means she knows how to make things happen in a fast-moving environment, but she has also mastered the art of translating what works in big business and applying it sensibly to SMEs. She is a motivating force to all those around her which comes in handy when she is working with her coaching clients.
Outside of the day job Gemma is a keen traveller, walker and dog lover. She’s also partial to a good meal out accompanied with a glass of bubbles with family and friends.

Happily married with two sons, Jon also coaches the U10’s Hook Norton Hammerheads mixed football team. While he loves a game of poker, sadly he rarely finds the time to play these days but is always up to invitations!
