Play Hard…
In my spare time I dance; I’ve won ceroc and west coast swing competitions. I grew up in the hotel industry and love good food, cooking and entertaining. Travel is a passion too, having lived in India, Indonesia, Sweden and Australia. I’m also a trustee for The Pelvic Partnership charity.
Work Hard…
I am the creative director and owner of Flippa Interiors, an award-winning space planning and interior design practice based in Wallingford. We offer creative solutions to residential and commercial clients throughout Oxfordshire and beyond.
We know that taking on an interior design project can feel daunting. Regardless of the size or scope of the project and whether it is a commercial or residential one, it is common for our clients to feel unsure about what direction they need to take. With an overwhelming amount of choice available, ‘finding your style’ can seem impossible but we make the whole process straightforward, stress free and enjoyable.
We have a range of interior design and space planning packages available and can offer our clients anything from a short two hour consultation to help them get a steer on a project right through to a fully bespoke approach where we plan, design, source, procure, install and style.
AWARD WINNING
Listening to our clients’ needs and delivering exceptional levels of design and customer service are central to our company. We’re very proud that this is reflected in the multiple awards we’ve won. For the fifth year since 2018 we’ve been awarded the prestigious Houzz ‘Best in Design’ and ‘Best in Customer Service’. In addition to this, we’ve also been awarded the ‘Certificate of Excellence Award’ from Bark and Design Pal Pro 2021 award.
I approached Philippa to help me improve my workspace: a log cabin at my home address where I meet with clients. In her work with me I was struck by how thoroughly she delved into my personality, preferences, and how I use the space – and also by how closely she listened to my responses. The process was thoroughly enjoyable, and the the outcomes an absolute success; I now have a place of work that is stylish, practical, and which authentically represents who I am. The space has been transformed in both look and feel, and the change has had a positive impact on both myself and my clients. I have already recommended Flippa Interiors to colleagues and friends, and begun working with them again on my kitchen-diner project.
Our mission statement is ‘to create beautiful, happier, well-functioning spaces for how our clients live, work and play’ and this is true whether we are working in a commercial space or within someone’s own home.
RECENT PROJECTS
Recent projects in the last 12 months have included large staff rooms at St Edwards School and Swalcliffe Park School, a 50,000sqm office in Long Hanborough, not to mention numerous smaller residential projects such as a 2 bedroom apartment in Henley and man cave with its own cinema and home bar in Berkshire.
