Play Hard…

Jo enjoys running and has completed the London Marathon twice (once virtually). During the summer, she follows trails of flour across the Oxfordshire and Berkshire countryside with Didcot Hash House Harriers. She is married with a teenage son who shares her love of music but not her taste in it!

Work Hard…

Jo is a Chartered Insurance Broker with 30 years of experience in the world of insurance.  Specialising in working with manufacturing and engineering businesses, her mission is to help SMEs to get their insurance right so that in the event of a claim they are up and running again as quickly as possible.  To really understand the risks clients face, she will visit them to see their processes and how they operate. 
 
Spencer Insurance Brokers is an independent insurance brokerage and was set up in 1983 by Jo’s parents.  Jo joined the business in 1991 and took over the full ownership in 2006.  She firmly believes that no two businesses are the same and will take time to gain a deep understanding of the risks a business faces.  “Insurance with insight”, something that can often be lost in today’s transactional world of insurance where many material facts and covers can be overlooked.
