Jane loves cakes. Any type of cakes are fine…and tea. When not drinking tea I can be found messing about on the river in and around Wallingford with my three children, Ava, George and Connie.
I set up face2faceHR Abingdon to bring a high standard of professional HR advice and guidance to small businesses, who often have no less complicated and challenging needs as their larger business counterparts.
HR can be confusing, worrying and time-consuming for small business owners, impacting their valuable time spent growing their business. I help my clients to navigate the employment law minefield, taking away the stress and supporting them to confidently manage those tricky HR situations to achieve the outcomes they need.

Our aim is to offer professional HR advice and support, without the cost of employing a full-time member of staff. We know it’s hard enough running a business without having to cope with disciplinary issues or employment legislation, so we have a range of services designed to ease the pressure and streamline HR administration. We work with small businesses across Oxfordshire.
My HR experience has been gained across a range of sectors including media and publishing, science, technology and engineering.
I have had first hand experience of managing teams in both operational and office environments, so I am able to bring down to earth, practical HR solutions to my clients.
I have worked extensively with senior directors and operational managers, to help them to get the best from their people, managing complex disciplinary and grievance situations, dealing effectively with issues such as capability and poor performance, sickness absence and relationship breakdown in the workplace.
I have also managed larger scale restructure and redundancy projects, TUPE transfers and designed programmes to improve employee engagement and develop line managers.
I’m passionate about what I do and committed to working alongside my clients, getting to know their businesses and becoming part of their management team so that I can support them with practical and workable HR solutions and take the stress away.
