“Originally from Leicester, after moving around for a few years, I finally made Bicester home in 2025. I’m a people person through and through! I love being surrounded by friends and family, meeting new people and celebrating life’s little (and big!) wins. At home, life revolves around my partner, my family and our four-legged companions, Raspberry the cat and Phoebe the dog.I’m a bit of a seasonal personality! In the colder months, you’ll find me cosying up in a country pub, curled up watching a film or at home with every candle in the house lit. Come summer, I’m all about sunshine, paddleboarding and getting outdoors. I absolutely love travelling, whether that’s three weeks exploring Thailand or a spontaneous weekend city break. I’m also a big believer in looking after yourself, so I enjoy the gym, yoga and meditation. Ultimately, I’m happiest when surrounded by good people, positive energy and a little bit of adventure!”
I’m Ellie, an independent Mortgage & Protection Adviser at The Mortgage Social, and I like to think of myself as a slightly unconventional mortgage broker! I’ve worked in financial services since 2013, but what I love most is helping people achieve something they might never have thought possible. Whether you’re a first-time buyer who hasn’t got a clue where to start, someone who’s been told they can’t get a mortgage, or a homeowner navigating their next big life change, I’m here to make the whole process feel a lot less daunting. I particularly love being there for the milestones, from those exciting first keys to growing families, moving homes and everything life throws at us along the way.
My approach is personal, honest and completely judgement-free. There’s no such thing as a silly question, and if you’re panicking about something at 8pm, you can absolutely drop me a message! I offer flexible evening and weekend appointments, take the time to really understand people’s circumstances and I’m not someone who gives up easily when faced with a challenge. As an independent broker, I can explore options across a wide range of lenders, including specialist solutions for more complicated situations. I’d love to connect with anyone who knows someone starting their property journey, struggling to find the right mortgage, or simply too busy to navigate it themselves. I’m also passionate about working with local businesses to offer mortgage advice and clinics as a valuable employee benefit. For me, it’s about building relationships, not just arranging mortgages.
