When Dilshad is not busy working on her cases or networking, she loves to spend time with her two daughters and dog. She has a passion for traveling and in the Summer of 2022 did her first solo trip to Bali. Dilshad enjoys keeping fit and has signed herself up for the Windsor half marathon. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

New Court Solicitors is a solicitor’s firm based in Norwood Green. New Court Solicitors journey began in 2019, at the start of a challenging year, when we faced a global pandemic. Whilst the world was adjusting to uncertain times, Dilshad and her business partner strived to keep motivated and focused on deliberating a strategy within their business to understand and meet their individual client needs. This was fundamental to their business. With pure determination and passion for the work they deliver, they have been successfully operating for three years.
Dilshad the Senior Partner has 15 years post qualification experience and specialises in Family Law, this involves Divorce, Finances & Children Matters.
Divorce: The Divorce law changed on 6th April 2022, and we now have what is known as the “no fault divorce”. This is a much more amicable approach to divorce. It allows either a sole application for divorce by one party; or a joint application by both parties to be made without having to place the blame on their spouse.
Financial Matters: Upon a divorce being issued, the next course of action is for the parties to deal with the finances of the marriage. This can be done via mediation, voluntarily disclosure or court proceedings.
Dilshad has been instructed in an array of complex high net worth cases relating to negotiating the financial settlement between parties following divorce or separation. She has advised in cases involving complex trusts, overseas properties and dealt with spouses who fail to comply with Court procedures and directions. Dilshad adopts a holistic yet robust approach to her cases ensuring that her clients can rely on her to effectively manage their case and progress matters swiftly, avoiding any unnecessary delays.
Children Matters: During a divorce, or when unmarried couples separate, it can be a confusing time for all parties especially if children are involved. The parties may not agree on who the child(ren) will live with, or how much time the child(ren) spend with the non-resident parent. New Court Solicitors are able to assist in all types of children matters.
Dilshad is regularly instructed in dealing with complicated children matters which include abduction, jurisdiction element, one parent seeking to relocate the child(ren), prohibited steps order, and cases alleging sexual abuse. She has always managed to deal with matters professionally and managed client’s expectations in terms of progressing matters.
