We are a charity and a place where families can make the most of their time together and create happy memories during their children’s short lives. We help local families cope with the challenges of looking after a terminally ill baby or child who will die prematurely.
Helen & Douglas House is a homely place for local children, living with life-limiting and terminal conditions, and their families. We provide care in a warm, loving environment. Our hospice is filled with laughter, whilst also being peaceful place where families can create happy memories in their last days, weeks, months or years together.
More children than ever are living with life‑limiting illnesses and by 2030, the number of children needing palliative care could rise by 30%, yet statutory funding covers only 11% of what’s needed. That’s why corporate support like yours is crucial in helping to fund Helen & Douglas House to help children and their families live every moment to the full.
