On Thursday 2nd October, business networking organisation Opendoorz will officially launch its new Gloucestershire Region at the newly refurbished Kings Head Hotel, seamlessly aligning with the hotel’s “New Reign” campaign. This partnership signals a fresh era for business professionals in the region where tradition meets transformation, and networking is redefined.

Founded in Oxfordshire in 2011, Opendoorz has grown into one of the region’s most respected business networking organisations. Built on the principles of relationship-first connections, strategic collaboration, and peer-to-peer support, Opendoorz has been challenging the conventions of traditional networking for over a decade. The Gloucestershire Region launch marks the organisation’s fourth group, expanding opportunities for ambitious entrepreneurs, senior decision-makers, and business leaders to connect in a high-quality, supportive environment.

The Kings Head Hotel a Cirencester landmark with centuries of history has recently undergone what it describes as “a quiet revolution.” Its New Reign campaign represents the hotel’s renewed role as a centre for community, connection, and celebration. With its refined yet relaxed spaces, the Kings Head offers the perfect setting for Opendoorz’ ‘Networking Done Differently’ a natural fit between a venue steeped in heritage and a network that thrives on innovation.

“At Opendoorz, we’re about more than just networking—we’re about building trusted relationships that open doors to opportunities,” said Cathy Dunbabin, Founder and MD of Opendoorz. “Launching our Gloucestershire Region at the Kings Head, with its own story of renewal and reignition, feels like the ideal way to celebrate what’s possible when ambitious professionals come together.”

The Gloucestershire Region will be led by Associate Directors Gemma Cubitt, Neil Smith, and Jim Gettings, who bring extensive experience and vision to foster cross-group collaboration and broader opportunities. Members will also enjoy access to exclusive perks and the wider Opendoorz network of 150+ professionals across multiple counties.

“The Kings Head is more than a venue—it’s a crown jewel for Cirencester and the perfect stage for a new reign of business networking,” said Gemma Cubitt, Associate Director at Opendoorz. “We’re proud to launch here and to help professionals across Gloucestershire connect in ways that are meaningful, purposeful, and future-focused.”

The launch event will welcome business professionals from across the region for an evening of inspirational talks, high-quality networking, and a celebration of local enterprise. Attendees will experience first-hand how Opendoorz’ Networking Done Differently complements the Kings Head’s New Reign, creating a powerful partnership for Cirencester’s professional community.
