Cathy Dunbabin & Sonia Kearns launched Opendoorz business networking in January 2011 and are based in Oxfordshire. Behind the company is a wealth of business and networking experience in the shape of the two founders.
Sonia Kearns believes that the networking arena has altered. The emphasis should be targeted focussed and valuable. Opendoorz is right at the heart of that shift in approach. So why not do this with a bit of flair and panache through Opendoorz?
You’ll find we do things a little differently says Cathy Dunbabin – and it definitely brings results. Regular group meetings combined with monthly guest events mean that you meet new faces all the time. As part of an Opendoorz group members are keen to share expertise, knowledge and experiences ensuring they reap the rewards and their business flourishes.
A fly on the wall at one of our group meetings would witness a lot of laughter, banter and goodwill. This is not a staid, dull environment where you have to wait your turn to speak!
Opendoorz follow a tried-and-tested format that relies on new and fresh content provided by the members. You get the opportunity to share your experiences, give updates on your industry, and also highlight the types of introductions you’re looking for.

Cathy Dunbabin – Motor sport fan, especially F1, adores heels and OTT jewellery. An eternal optimist and partial to a night at the casino – you can’t have one without the other! Fantastic at uncovering synergies, connecting people and creating a professional business network for herself and those around her!
Sonia Kearns – Is famous (amongst friends) for renditions of ‘I Will Survive’ and hosting fantastic parties – you will dance! Has a canny knack of creating great business opportunities for others. Loves nothing more than seeing those relationships flourish and enjoying a glass of wine to celebrate!
When Sonia & Cathy’s paths crossed many years ago it was ’love at first sight’ there was an untouchable chemistry; “we shared many of the same values, were heading in similar directions, laughed at lots of the same things and above all trusted, valued and thought highly of each other”.
